Pizza was horrible. Using styrofoam cups in a restaurant in 2019. Workers gave themselves a $10 tip.
Made the pizza right in front of us. I thought it was really cool. The pizza was delicious.
This is not a Maddios, despite sign inside and outside building. Found out when tried to use Maddios club card.
Was very good. Liked the atmosphere also!
Good environment and pizza! Pricy!
Not very pleasant customer service, and not good enough food to make up for the lack of service.
They made us wait while they took a phone order, then handled the money without changing gloves to prepare the food.
Great pizza and a friendly staff!!!!
Great tasting variety of pizzas and exceptional service! They also serve beer :-) make it a point not to walk by this place go inside!
Great food, friendly service. Now independently owned and managed.
They charge a dollar for a small foam cup you can use to get water. They won’t even tell you that, you can find it out from the receipt. I waited 10 mins at the counter as the person was talking on phone. There was a sign saying 10% off for faculty and staff. When I asked, she said that it is only for staff working at the restaurant. What balloney ! Ordered pizza with 3 toppings, but got one with two. This is a pale shadow of the excellent customer service we used to get at Maddios which was at this location before.
My absolute favorite pizza place!!! Great service and great atmosphere.
From the staff, to the pizza, to the atmosphere, everything about this place was amazing! They even cater to those with dietary restrictions including offering lactose free cheese (vegan) and gluten- free crust. The cannolis were even better than the cookies in my opinion. My pizza of choice is the Classic Margherita.
Great service and nice selection for gluten free.
Maddio's at Auburn is by far my favorite pizza place. The staff is so friendly and personable, the service is really fast and the pizza is delicious! And if you are a fan of ranch dressing with your pizza... Maddio's has the BEST RANCH IN TOWN. Can they be open for breakfast too? Breakfast pizza sounds good.
Relatively decent gluten free pizza
Best pizza I've had in a long time
I was glad to find a place that had vegan options.
Tasty pizza. I like how you can make it your own.
Took forever to get our food and the service was not good at all and the food was not good at all
Am traveling through town and ordered through Uber Eats to our hotel. We ordered an XL pizza and a salad with intent of feeding three people. The total comes to $35 plus fees. The driver shows up and hands me a tiny individual size pizza and when I said that couldn’t be correct he says “I think that’s just their sizes, have y’all ever ordered from there before?” Laughable. So they’re either totally incompetent or a complete ripoff.
Extremely slow service. Go to little Italy’s for better service and better pizza. I went to CVS instead to buy hot pockets!
My favorite place for pizza after a game. They're always quick, and their pizza and wings are amazing. A friend of mine who's gluten-free says its the best gluten-free pizza she's ever had.
This place is a nice change from the typical Dominos and Papa Johns. The portion size is good, and the price is fair. The staff are nice and the pizza is tasty.
Absolutely the best pizza I've eaten anywhere
One of my favorites places to eat! Such a fun time on game days.
The food is delicious, just be prepared for the price. It is worth it, though! I would give 5 stars, but the food prep area was in disarray and they seemed to be struggling because of that. Other than that issue, we really enjoyed our experience here! The dining area was clean, the employees were nice, and the restaurant was wheelchair friendly! Also, for those who have need, there are gluten free pizza options! I thought that was pretty awesome!
The pizza's really good but the service is regularly lacking. They often get the order wrong but will make it right if you have the patience to wait.
Excellent place for pizza right in the heart of Auburn. We go here for the GF crust and Daiya cheese due to food allergies. They do a greatly job of making the pizzas separate from the other ingredients and crusts. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners as well. They are top notch folks and super friendly. We will definitely be back when in Auburn again.
Just left there after not being in awhile and the food and service is always excellent! My favorite place to go. The absolute best GF pizzas!
Dissapointing - I was hoping for some good handmade pizzas. It wasnt good -took way too long. My youngest had the meatballs and they were unseasoned reheated globs of weird looking meat. The sweet tea was enough to put you in a diabetic coma. But the lady working was a doll so I couldn't give it one star because she was so sweet to us.
We drive approximately 85+ miles one way to eat our favorite chicken club pizza. Our friends in Auburn make it special for us..It's delicious! Tea is always perfect... Not overly sweet. People are always so precious. Good kids.... We recommend Uncle Maddios Pizza. You will love it!!!!
Thin pizza and moderate prices are a good combo. Only knock I have is on the non alcoholic drink selection. Tea tasted weird and couple of fountain drinks were out. Overall this is a place we will be coming back to.
Service was very nice. The food was ok not really expensive but not cheap either. Overall it was good.
Excellent fast service best pizza in town. I LOVE there sauce amd its never really busy.
Had order ready when I got there
Decent food at a decent price. Staff is a little distant.
Alright, let me put it straight. Every time I walk by this dang place I see a bird. I don't know if these guys are making/supplying the birds but it's something else. Smoking a cig right now but you know me. It's too hot outside but I GUESS I can make due with that. I mean, hot pizza AND hot armpits? Give me a break uncle madio...1/5 cars. Use your dang head.
I already loved the Uncle Maddios of Auburn because the food is fantastic, service is over-the-top excellent and the decor is so fun! But then I heard that Maddio's has the best ranch in town, so I decided to try it. Let me just say...wow. As if the pizza isn't already stand-alone amazing! Is there any combination under the sun that rivals Maddio's create-your-own pizza dipped in their amazingly delicious ranch? Sublime!!
My Gosh, this pizza is delicious.. Very authentic. I will definitely be going back. Great experience for me.
Clean organized professional approach
Great customer service and my pizza was delicious I will definitely be back !!
Just went here today and ordered three individual pizzas. I wanted a glass of ice water and was told they no longer have glasses for ice water. Sounds pretty cheap to me - last time I ever eat here
Healthy good pizza ! Good selection of cheese
Over priced pizza. Did not fill up me or my wife and it was $35. If you are looking for a pizza plenty of other options to choose from the the downtown Auburn area.
We stopped on our way to Florida because we thought it was an uncle Maddio’s. Turns out it is now a new pizza place owned by the same owners. This is more a review of the restaurant than the employees. There was only one employee working at lunch time on a Wednesday. Multiple customers left before even ordering. Many of the ingredients were frozen on the front line, the salad lettuce was bad on top and the employee sorted through to find some good pieces. Mid way through the order the employee stopped to answer their cell phone and walked away. When the food was served the trays were disgusting, the pizza totally took a step down in quality. There was no silverware except spoons, and there was a half used box of tea filters sitting on the counter. there are no trash cans or places to deposit used plates so many tables still had dirty trays and food on them. Bathrooms were disgusting and lacked soap dispensers yet alone soap.
We came in tonight and all drink machines ... including water machines were broken. We were told we could buy canned drinks but had to pay each time we needed a refill.
This was a good pizza restaurant, but has recently declined. Went for lunch today and it appeared only 2 people were working the entire restaurant. The do not offer water. You must pay for a bottled water. Service was slow. All of the TV's were turned off which was weird because it was very quiet in the restaurant.
Fresh ingredients & made to order! Love the Italian pizza.
